I sometimes have clients who freak out in the first week, sometimes even the first day of working with macros. “Everything is off!” “My fat is too high!” “I still have 60 grams of protein left!”
Oof, take a breath! It’s only the beginning and I don’t know about you but I don’t think there’s anything new I tried learning that I “got” right away. Playing piano, tennis, olympic lifting, learning another language… these are all things I’ve learned that took time to learn, and will take even longer to master. Why should learning macros be any different?
So as you embark on a health journey that takes a different approach than what you’re used to, I ask you to take a moment to think about a few things:
